Build your UX Capstone Project - Learn by doing

Every student must complete a Capstone Project before they graduate.

This is designed to help you apply your learnings to solve a real world problem, either one from your current workplace or one of your own choosing. Your mentor will help you pick a project of your interest, targeted to a specific client (real or imaginary). Using UX techniques you've learned, you will create a project that is portfolio-worthy.

What's in the “curriculum", and how many hours of work will it be?

We worked with industry experts to curate the best online resources, based on the most relevant and in-demand skills, into a logical sequence. Expect a total of ~150 hours of work, including project work.


How much does the course cost and what does the fee cover?

Our courses are designed to be flexible and self-paced. The average time to completion for the UX Design course is three months. However, individual paces vary. If you don’t love the course after the first week, we offer a full refund.

You’ll pay a $499 monthly subscription for each month you’re enrolled in the course. The fee covers:

1. All curriculum materials and resources used in the course.
2. Weekly 1-1 video calls with your personal mentor.
3. Access to an exclusive community of expert mentors and fellow students.
4. Weekly Office Hours hosted by industry professionals.
5. All taxes and fees.


What kind of mentoring support can I expect?

You’ll interact 1-on-1 with your personal mentor every week in a 30-minute video call. Your mentor will help with technical and career guidance. They’ll also keep you accountable and help ensure that you actually complete the course. Additionally, you’ll have access to weekly Office Hours and to an exclusive community of mentors and fellow learners. You can ask questions and receive project feedback through the mentor calls, Office Hours or the community.


How do I earn a certificate of completion?

We will provide certificates of completion to all students who complete the course and the final project.


Is this course conducted online, or in person?

All our courses take place entirely online. All you need is an Internet connection.


Are there any prerequisites for this course?

No prerequisites. Everyone is welcome!


Are there any UX tools I need to download/use for this course?

We don't teach specific UX design tools, and there are no requirements to use any particular tools. We do suggest tools like InVision and Sketch when needed. Most UX design tools will have trial periods sufficient enough for the course.
